Monster Mash
Your article on Glenn Beck ["We Created a Monster," Oct. 22] is typical propaganda ... there are many people who feel the same way as what Glenn Beck speaks! It has nothing to do with Obama! It has everything to do with loss of freedoms, mismanagement of money, not listening to the people, getting "free" services (health care, welfare, bailouts, etc. ...).
If you were real journalists, you would investigate and question what's really going on in Washington. Therefore, I assume you are owned by one of the "controlling" elite and are "censored" in what you can actually print.

Tough Questions
Beck may be too straightforward or even annoying, but he asks Washington tough questions journalists don't ask. Beck's not a journalist. He's a commentator and admits it. When you listen to him you know you'll get a conservative constitutionalist opinion; he doesn't hide that either. The article read "The people who do love him do so with an almost scary intensity." People don't love Beck. They love his message of liberty. Beck brings up issues that threaten liberty virtually nobody else reports. Beck isn't a spokesman for the GOP like many critics argue. He disagrees with unconstitutional and big government Republicans as well as Democrats. He dislikes surrender of liberty and massive growth of the federal government, not the donkey or the elephant. As a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, I have seen first-hand the bias of mainstream media coverage. I have seen extraordinary progress overseas that has been under-reported. As a U.S. marine who was in Fallujah, I find it hard to believe that Al Anbar province (Ramadi and Fallujah) was transferred to Iraqi control in 2008 and it was barely reported. Guess who actually explained the significance of the situation. Glenn Beck. This event was the military equivalent of taking Berlin during WWII. Beck brings up important issues even if you don't like his way.
